HOMESCHOOL

HOMESCHOOLING IS AWESOME.
And also a commitment. It doesn’t come naturally to most people. I’ve struggled with consistency some days, but learning to give myself grace. The Clarksons really inspired me to say no to the temptation to stress about it in their wonderful book, Educating the Whole Hearted Child. They encourage us to enjoy the process. They compare it to climbing a mountain. If you’re too stiff and focused on the destination, you’ll miss all the scenery and learning conversations along the way.

FOREST SCHOOL
My go-to classroom is the forest. Here is a glimpse into how we learn and build communication as we wander.

RHYTHMS
Developing rhythms by establishing “anchor activities” as a matrix to orient other activities. Multiple approaches explored.

PRE-K RESOURCES
Free printables coming soon! I’ve come to realize how much fun Pre-K is. We go out in the woods and learn organically, build STEAM skills with LEGOs, memorize scripture with songs and dance, and learn to read with Play N Talk, LEGO Phonics, and just reading tons of books.

HOMESCHOOL SUMMITS
One of my favorite resources for wisdom, encouragement, and incredible ideas to have a healthy, beautiful, homeschool
